We are a small, but growing network of young MBA students. We share our experiences at business school for the benefit of the greater good, and to further encourage prospective YoungMBAs.
First month of school
Time really flies.
Barely three-four weeks ago I’d just started school, thinking that it’d be a relaxing month, offering lots of times for catching up with the NBA playoffs and also netflix a few movies while I’m at it. Boy, was I wrong! The one thing I’d heard about most from both first and second years is that time really flies, and, well, IT REALLY DOES. This is obviously even more the case for someone doing overloading their course load and doing a double degree like I’m doing at Lauder. For the past month, I felt like I was being pushed along by an invisible force from one errant to run to another, from one class to another, from one party to another. Things kept on moving, moving moving. Turns out that business school really couldn’t be more different from college in one major way: the pace of it all!
Good luck with everyone starting their summer internships: I’m off to China in two days for my Summer Immersion. Hope everyone has a fruitful couple of months ahead!
