We are a small, but growing network of young MBA students. We share our experiences at business school for the benefit of the greater good, and to further encourage prospective YoungMBAs.
About
YoungMBA.net started with a struggle; a struggle that turned into an idea.
As a college student, I had my mind set up on getting my MBA right after college. As I started doing my research about business schools, I came to realize that there was a significant lack of first-hand information about young MBA students who have chosen to pursue this path right out of college. I wanted to read some blogs & testimonials or articles specifically geared towards young MBA students, but I could not find any.
In the end, I applied to a number of top business schools. Now, I am a first-year MBA student at Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, studying finance & strategy. Moreover, I also serve as Admissions Coordinator for Owen Student Government Association, as I was selected by my classmates. In a class of 214 students, only 4 of us made the journey right out of college.
On this blog, you will be able to step into the lives of current young MBA students. We will share the difficulties we have faced, the challenged we’ve had to overcome, the opportunities we have explored, and the experiences we are having at business school right now!
Enjoy,
