Dear Karen,

Given that you want to teach, you may want to consider pursuing a PhD instead. It will be much cheaper (i.e. free), and it is a lot more respected in the academic world than an MBA. You may want to spend more time on getting a higher GMAT score, though, to get into a good programme, because academic placement rates are extremely low.
